    October 05

    Wow... a month on!

Not really been around for the last month....could you tell?

    what dya mean you couldn't!

Well to round up a truly amazing month....Work, Uni & Money.

    Work
Kept working at the hospital until the 23rd september and have lover every second of it. The atmosphere is amazing and the laughs are only beaten by a brain wave druing or after a night out (there always the best)

    Uni
Started at aston last week on logistics, freshers week was pretty gd. Could hav been better if our nights hadn't been cut short by various things!
Lectures started this week, although i have only had 1 in 3 days and it was so easy it's unbelieveable. But i guess other areas of the course will be difficult.

    Money
Got loads of the stuff at the moment, jus having problems getting to it as natwest take an age to send me a cashcard of cov building society mess about with my online application.

I'll try and keep this updated more often  but we'll see!

    September 04

    September

Haven't had much time recently what with being at work and sorting my future out!

But the gist of everything is i start uni 24th sept(freshers) and i am paying by direct debit to save me some money!

Have just got my natwest account stuff through so i will have my railpass soon to get me to uni cheap!

Everyone is going off to uni soon if not heading off nowish, so thats about 10 of my mates gone for a while!

    Rover and Up

    Rovers vs Fulham

Rovers get off to the perfect start with 5 guilt edged chances in the first 4 minutes. To top off a first 30mins that wouldn't have been out of place at Old Trafford, Highbury or Stamford Bridge, the norway legend that is Morten Gamst Pederson unloaded what was described as a contender for Goal of the season already!

A great ball in from Kuqi was met on the volley by a running MGP who beat the keeper and almost broke the net!

Rovers settled down for the last 15mins going in 1-0 leaders at half time!

After a top up of coca cola (for me) the second half began much as it did last week with rovers falling asleep at the back and Mcbride taking advantage and leveling up for fulham!

Following this rovers heads could have dropped as with last week, but they had learnt from that game and came back in true rovers fashion hitting the woodwork and making tony warner pull off some stunning saves.

Rovers had a sequnce of 4 corners in a row in which they could have scored two and this was followed 10mins later by a corner taken by MGP and perfectly laid on to tugay's right boot! He in turn dispatched this at a very fast pace between the keeper and the man on the post in to the goal to seal the rovers victory!

Rovers well deserved the 3 points and should have won by a far greater margin!

Next is Spurs (2 wins so far) on wednesday!

    Update on me

Got my A-level results thursday and got what i expected even though it wasn't good enough to get onto my first choice course!

After discussions with aston uni i have got a place on the BSc Logistics course, which even though i wouldn't have looked at before the course is very good and is highly economic and business which is what i am good at!

We'll see how it goes in just over a month but i think i'll like it!

In other news i am still working away, got around £1,200 in teh bank now, enough for a year's uni!

Thinking about going for a mcdonalds now, feeling in the mood for one! Back in a bit peeps!

    Fulham (home)

Rovers play today against Fulham(al fayed fc)

Missing Craig Bellamy after wales managed to injure him and then failed to tell us about

Looking for a good performance today and 3 points obviously.

Prediction of: Friedel, Neill, Todd, Nelsen, Matteo, Emerton, Savage, Reid, Pederson, Kuqi, Jansen(if fit, if not then Galli)

    update at 5pm!

    Last Game

Yesterday saw the final game for lions after about 5 years of playing every friday night.

In a now typical fashion lions didn't perform in the cup and ended up winning 2 of the 4 games.

Meaning lions left dissapointed again after only last week losing the final league game by a goal that saw us drop to 3rd and miss out on a winners/runners up place by a point!

A bad end to a successful few years, and i am looking for a place to play football in any team as a keeper if any body needs one!

    Awful First Day

Following on our normal tradition of having pathetic starts to the season.

Rovers travelled to upton park(boleyn ground), where we last won in 1994. and took an early lead thanks to captain andy todd's left footed drive into the goal!

However in normal rovers manor after a first half where they were by far the much better team and let chances go without adding to the lead.

The second half started with the hammers snatching a goal back and followed by 2 further goals, all due to pathetic defending by a back two that have hardly played together!

Just to compound a bad result, paul dickov was sent off for a horrible 2 footed challange.

Lets hope things improve against fulham next saturday!

    Western Hammers

Today is the opening day of the premiership campaign, and all the right sounds are coming out of ewood!

But with two main players injured and 50/50 for the first game it's not the best of starts!

I am hoping we play well tomorrow and come away with all 3 points, but i'll guess we will see at 5pm!

Also the cricket is on, so i'll have that on mute

    Its over!

Well in a final week of twists and turns which saw craig thrown out on wednesday and follwed with eugene cashing in on £50k of the £100k prize fund.

The final day saw kinga evicted first, quixkly followed by mokosi and then it was down to eugene and anthony!

All week had been building up to these two going head to head for the money. With mokosi thinking she would be ahead in the public poll!

When all was said and done Eugene walked away with £50k

As did Anthony, but he claimed the all important tag of BB6 winner!

Anthony was my pick from week 1 and for the first time in 6 series i did pick the winner from the start!

So thats it for another year, i guess it's this time where i say it's rubbish and i won't watch it next year.... but we all know i will!

    Last Real Eviction!

Well Friday night came and went! As did Derek in the battle between him and eugene!
Who is now second favourite to win! Behind the mighty anthony.... a place craig would like to be!

So the final week, and probally a suprise, eviction wednesday is between Anthony, Craig, Eugene, Kinga & Mokosi!

    Friday Night

In our last but 1 league game! Lions put out almost a full strength line up for the first time in weeks!

Running away with the tie in the end and laying the law down 13-4, as i kept a second half clean sheet!

Countdown to the new PL season!

Make Doherty History Campaign Takes A Blow

BABYSHAMBLES sensationally reformed at a gig last night (August 1) in STOKE.

Having not spoken to each other in weeks amid rumours that Pete Doherty had sacked the rest of the band, the group made a surprise appearance at the Underground .

The gig was the band’s first since pulling their entire UK tour last month, and failing to show for the Big Gay Out festival in London’s Finsbury Park.

A fan at the show told NME.COM: “It was pretty fucking awesome. It was only two quid to get in, they came on three times, I got covered in beer, Pete didn't seem too wrecked and there was a guy dressed up as Max Carlish standing right behind me.”

Another fan added: “I was there and it was fucking awesome and for only £2 I couldn’t beleive it. When they went outside I followed and was talking to Pete for about half an hour. He was dead sound and he was happy to sign autographs for any one and speak to everyone. I asked him about the tour and he said I was asking the wrong person. Then I said will you be playing again and he goes ‘I dunno I think we’re going have to’, but he seemed like he was happy to be back performing. What a night! Babyshambles are back and on top form.”

The group’s new single ’Fuck Forever’ is scheduled to be released on August 15.
